Hot Forging

Hot forging is a metal working and transformation process that takes place at high temperatures.

The shapes, even very COMPLEX, are obtained thanks to the pressure exerted by a press on a steel mold designed in 3D and built in the laboratory taking into account numerous variables. Astm provides a TEAM of highly specialized technicians to identify the right production process and the most suitable metals for the customer’s project

HOT MOLDING OF METAL ALLOYS

Hot forging with screw / rocker press from 200 to 6000 kgm with induced air heating, belt and induction furnaces for aluminum, brass, bronze and copper alloys Details from 20 to 2000 g

FINE STAINLESS MESH HOT MOLDING

Hot forging with hammers from 1000 to 3000 kgm with induction heating and closed mold with fine burr for carbon, alloy, stainless and super alloys steels. Production details 20-2500 g, 20-400 mm and thicknesses up to 2 mm. Linearity and lower dimensional tolerances thanks to post-process cold calibration

HOT MOLDING WITH ECCENTRIC PRESS

Hot forging with eccentric presses up to 4000 t with induction heating and closed and deep mold for carbon, alloy, stainless and super-alloy steels. Details from 200 to 20000 g
